The copper peptide GHK was discovered,

COPPER SKINCARE
Convinced that copper’s healing properties
had the potential to be utilized in additional
applications, the scientists had a big idea:
create skincare products with copper
peptides that would dramatically improve

DNA COFACTOR
After more than 20 years of research, the
scientists create DNA CoFactor, the firstever
hybrid DNA repair and copper peptide
technology—and NEOVA SmartSkincare
was born.
2015
NOBEL PRIZE
Scientists are awarded the Nobel Prize
in Chemistry for mechanistic studies of
DNA repair. This groundbreaking science
demonstrates the benefits of repairing
enzymes at a molecular level and is used in
NEOVA products to target the root causes of
photoaging in the skin.
2016
PATENTS
The United States Patent and Trademark
Office issues a patent for topical DNA repair
composition in DNA CoFactor and DNA
Damage Control sunscreens. This marks the
first time a brand has demonstrated that it can treat, prevent and repair photodamaged skin.
